Hosting a teenage girl...Ahhhh!

For those that don't know, we were not able to host Sasha last year at Christmas and we feel the Lord telling us "not now" regarding adoption.  Sooooo....we decided to host a teenage girl for the summer that is not even eligible for adoption.  Her name is Lidya and she is 12.  OK, so she's not a teenager yet but hot diggity dog...that's as close to being a teen as you can get!  And I'm not sure when her b-day is, so who knows...by the time she makes it here, she could be 13.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about having a teenage girl here!  I feel totally inadequate.  I mean, I don't have any girls, I don't have any girly stuff, I'm not a girly girl and oh my word, what if she starts her cycle while she's here AND she doesn't speak any English to boot?  Whoa!  That's more than I can handle just thinking about it.  BUT a dear friend told me, "You probably are inadequate but God isn't".  OK, OK...that's true!  So, that means I have to completely rely on Him and isn't that where He wants me to begin with?

We will get Lidya some time in June and have her for 5 weeks.  From her profile, she seems like a very sweet girl and we are excited about loving on her and sharing the Love of Jesus with her.  Coby is so thrilled that I feel like he is going to do flips in the airport when we pick her up!

If anyone has any girl clothes that they no longer need, we would greatly appreciate you sharing them with us for Lidya.  I don't know girl sizes, so I don't know what size she would wear.  Also, any suggestions on what I can get her would be appreciated or if you have anything that your teenage daughter no longer uses, we'd love to give it to Lidya.  Something tells me that legos, hot wheels and bionicles may not be her first choice of things to do!

Oh and please pray for us while we are on this journey!
