So, the Eastern European country that we are seeking to adopt Sasha from has some wacky laws! It is illegal to seek to adopt a child in which you have not met. That is why we are having such a hard time determining if Sasha is even adoptable. However, the great news is that we did find out that there is a child with the same first name, same first initial of the last name and same month and year of his dob in the Federal Databank of adoptable children. We are encouraged because that means chances are, Sasha is adoptable.
Now, once Sasha gets here and we meet him, then we can seek to pursue adoption. Praise the Lord!!
